It is a question I often ask myself, as I'm sure many others do. While cost may not be an obstacle for a few, many of us live in the real world and have limited budgets but expensive tastes. C'est la vie! or as one of my friends so eloquently puts it,
Anyway, here I am, desperately looking for something for my wife's birthday, and something that is appropriate for a 'significant' birthday; something she can use on that downhill road now she's crossing over the top of the hill!

Then I found the perfect gift any kid would want in their stocking on Christmas morning from Santa .... a life sized replica of Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinosaur. A bargain at only .... how much!!!!!!
OK, I get free delivery, but where and how I am going to hide this one? Alas, they cant make one in time, so I guess that puts this one out of the running.
Now where was I going to find something sensible? I was struggling. I had spent only what seemed like a few minutes browsing, but now it was time to stop as she was coming back with the girls after their dance lesson. I hoped to have more luck later, but that would be end of my search this morning. More ramblings to follow, in my search for that elusive, but perfect gift!
